The New York Police Headquarters is confronted with the horror of a serial killer loose on the streets of Manhattan in 36 Saints. This new thriller stars Donna McKechnie, Franky G and Jeffrey De Serrano. Already being dubbed as a “Seven meets Da Vinci Code”, 36 Saints will surely bring different twists and turns in a horrific crime that is happening in Manhattan. There isn’t quite a lot of literature for this new film and it seems that everything is being kept under wraps until it premieres. Just to give everyone a quick look on what to expect in this new film, check out the film’s official synopsis from their site below:
“Official Synopsis of 36 Saints
Oblivious to the danger, a group of hip students from all over the world, who now attend school together in New York, are planning a memorial to celebrate the lives of their lost “brothers and sisters” who died suddenly in a tragic plane crash a year prior.
Aspiring actress EVE, her athletic boyfriend SEBASTIAN, bad boy gone good DOMINIC, tough but sweet JOAN, hip hop mogul on the rise, VALENTINE and beautiful, carefree MARIA, soon begin to turn up dead, one by one. As more dead bodies mount, detectives JOSEPH and MICHAEL are in a race against time to stop the serial killing. The crime scenes and the way each victim was killed lead the detectives to theorize that each of the killings may be linked to the victims’ ancient namesakes.
Those namesakes are known to be some of the most saintly people that have graced the earth. As evidence continues to mount and more body bags are gathered, the detectives are convinced that the killer is basing his crimes on the belief that every generation has 36 righteous individuals who live among us, where, with all of them gone, the world would fall into chaos, corruption and eventual darkness.
The hunt is on to find the last of the 36 Saints before the killer does.”

The suspense is really putting everybody at the edge of their seat this September. One user who got to see an early premiere of 36 Saints had this to say “CineMava here…and I just saw “36 Saints” which I enjoyed very much. The suspense was built up nicely and the movie creeped me out. ( I know…I know, that was the whole point. Well I’ve got to tell you, it achieved it. ) I saw a talented group of young actors convincingly showing terror and fear. But leading the search for clues and justice were Franky G and Jeffrey DeSerrano who played the cops on this bizarre trail. They believably expressed New York’s Finest…dealing with “just the facts,” who wind up questioning their own religious beliefs in the process. I can’t say much more without spoiling the fun for the rest of you, but I’d recommend the film, and ask this question: “are you one of them?”
36 Saints is directed by Eddy Duran and is going to be released in cinemas on September 6th 2013.
