High School, who could ever forget about our time in high school? Well this June 1st everybody will have another flashback on how crazy things go in high school. High School is an upcoming comedy film starring Adrien Brody, Matt Bush, Michael Chiklis, Sean Marquette and Colin Hanks. A soon to be valedictorian goes the distance to make sure that his future is not hurt by one little mistake. His pursuit to making sure everything goes to plan suddenly goes out of control. High School will definitely give movie goers tons of laughter and a great time in theaters this June. Let’s take a look at what we can expect from the movie: High School.
The cast of High School consist of Matt Bush who plays the character of Henry Burke who is the school’s soon to be valedictorian. The only mistake he seem to have done is to smoke a joint for the first time in his life. The school principal, Dr. Leslie Gordon played by Michael Chiklis is a very strict administrator who puts into law a zero tolerance policy when it comes to drugs. The principal then decides to conduct a mandatory drug test for every single student in the school. Henry is now in a big dilemma because it’s his whole future that will be ruined if his drug test turns out to be positive. So now he has two option either he loses his college scholarship or to take up arms with his stoner friend Breaux (played by Sean Marquette) in the hopes to beat the system. Henry decides to take on the latter option and the two friends steal a stash of ganja from a former law student who became a drug dealer, Psycho Ed (Adrien Brody). They then spike the school’s bake sale brownies with this powerful drug which then turns the whole faculty completely stoned. Although, this is the least of their problem since Psycho Ed is out to get them for stealing his stash. These two unlikely partners must now find a way before their crazy plan gets out of control.
High School is certainly creating a lot of buzz from critics and audiences in the country. Rotten Tomatoes indicate that 74% of their users would like to see this comedy film. Here are also some of the early reviews from critics in the movie world:
