On The Ice features Frank Qutuq Irelan as Aivaaq, Adamina Kerr as Michelle and Josiah Patkotak as Qalli. On The Ice will surely leave the audiences baffled on how these young men will create their future with the actions that they’ve taken.

Since On The Ice was shown in previous film festivals, there are already some critics who gave their opinion with regards to this film. Here are a few quotes on what movie critics have to say about On The Ice. According to Jay Seaver: MacLean makes the plot twists interesting in a number of specific, interesting ways – scenes where geography is important are shot clearly, blows to the head produce realistic concussion-like symptoms, and James’s girlfriend Michelle (Adamina Kerr) has an interesting role.

Although, there are also some critics who were not so impressed with On The Ice. Here’s a short quote from Alan Bacchus: Unfortunately Maclean is let down by his actors, most of whom sadly just don’t have the chops to pull off the emotional complexities of their heavy emotional journies. It’s the kiss of death really for a film such as this. Frank Qutuq Irelan as Aivaaq has a unique and innate toughness and edge required for the hotheaded role as the clique leader.
