Safe House: An Action Packed Adventure With Denzel Washington

Safe House will bring a new flavor to thriller films this year starring the Oscar Award winner Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds. Directed by Daniel Espinosa, Safe House is going to be released on February 10th 2012. It can also be noted that this will be the studio debut of Daniel Espinosa as a director. Safe House is written by David Guggenheim and was filmed in Cape Town, South Africa. The movie studios that produced this thriller/action adventure are namely: Intrepid Pictures, Moonlighting Films, Relativity Media and Stuber Productions. Get ready to have an instantaneous adrenaline rush with Safe House.

Ryan Reynolds plays the character Matt Weston who is a young CIA operative. Matt Weston (Reynolds) is tasked to look after a known fugitive in a safe house and this fugitive is Tobin Frost (Denzel Washington). Tobin Frost was one of the best CIA operative until he turned rogue. A group of rebels suddenly attacked the CIA safe house and it is up to Matt Weston (Reynolds) to find a way to move Tobin Frost to another secure location. The screening of Safe House will surely be a field day for movie fanatics and audiences. Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds are also joined by other fantastic actors like: Liam Cunningham, Brendan Gleeson, Robert Patrick, Sam Shepard, and Vera Farmiga.

A lot of people are looking forward to see Denzel Washington on the silver screen again. After all, he gave astounding performances in the movies: The Bone Collector, Training Day, Malcolm X, The Hurricane and so much more. People are waiting expectantly to see how he will create the character of Tobin Frost in Safe House. As for Ryan Reynolds, Reelz.com gave a short article expressing their opinion: 2011 hasn’t been a good year for Ryan Reynolds. With expectations set very high, Green Lantern turned out to be one of the summer’s biggest comic book movie bombs, while August’s The Change-Up fared even worse, finally settling the question: “Will audiences watch a body swap comedy if it’s Rated R?” Turns out the answer is no. Reynolds is looking to rebound in 2012, first with Safe House, a thriller that co-stars Denzel Washington, who, even when one of his movies gets mixed reviews (The Book of Eli, for instance), still do pretty well at the box office.

Critics from Beyond Hollywood are expecting to see more in the Safe House film. They are hoping that Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds will be able to deliver more than the usual action/thriller movie. According to a short quote from this website they said: It all looks very generic and predictable, but hopefully the big-budget Hollywood gloss and A-list cast will give us something we haven’t seen before. Ain’t holding my breath, though. The rap soundtrack is cool, though.

One thing is for sure, Safe House will bring a new experience to people who love action, conspiracy stories and suspense films all over the world.
