The Darkest Hour Movie: A New Rush For Sci-Fi Lovers

The Darkest Hour movie is bound to hit the big screens this December 25th and it is surely another sci-fi movie that is worth watching. The movie revolves around an alien invasion that was experienced by 5 young people in Moscow, Russia. Produced by Summit Entertainment, Regency Entertainments, New Regency, Brazelevs and Jacobson Company this movie will hit the fans of science fiction hard with its 3D effects. The movie is yet another alien invasion but with a twist, the extraterrestrials that are trying to invade our planet are energy aliens. Looking at the trailer of this movie, it seems that the people were caught off guard because they cannot see what was causing all the commotion. The unknown forces cannot be seen but they can devour any kind of life form in this world. The amazing effects of this movie will surely give the audience a heart-stopping experience in the theaters.

The Darkest Hour is directed by Chris Gorak who is known for his previous works like: Minority Report, Fight Club, The Man Who Wasn’t There and so much. Gorak is working in tandem with Jon Spaihts who wrote the screenplay of this new movie with the help of other writers: Leslie Bohem and M.T. Ahern. The main cast of The Darkest Hours consists of Emile Hirsch playing the character of Sean in the movie, Olivia Thirby as Natalie and Max Minghella as Ben. These actors are also joined by other actors: Rachael Taylor and Joel Kinnaman. The young adults try their best to wrap their heads around the situation that they are currently in. It seems that a harmless vacation in Moscow is now turning into a survival from the unseen aliens. The group of friends is led by Sean (Hirsch) who recognizes the fact that the aliens are here to devour Earth’s energy and killing all forms of life in the process. He leads the group to fight for their lives with the help of early warning signals that will indicate the alien’s presence near them. How they are going to survive this invasion and eventually save our only planet will give movie goers an instantaneous rush this holiday season.

A lot of people are intrigued by this sci-fi movie that is showing this Christmas. Since there are a lot of alien invasion themed movie that graced the screen this year, a lot of people wants to know how this movie will stand out from the rest. Early reviews about this movie are slowly starting to come out and Criticalcritics.com certainly has an opinion about The Darkest Hour. It seems that it has caught this critic’s attention because the movie broke the usual concept of ugly or monstrous aliens in the past. The extraterrestrials in this movie have no form and lives in an electrical state. 86 percent of Rotten Tomatoes audiences would like to see The Darkest Hour Movie but other audiences can’t help but feel that it is just another alien flick movie.
