The Watch, originally dubbed as The Neighborhood Watch is a story of four suburban men who were brought together to break the usual humdrum of their lives one night. Although, this guy’s night out seemed to be turning to something out of this world. They find out accidentally that their town has become overrun with extraterrestrials who are posing to be ordinary people in town. The Watch will bring the four friends into a decision to save their town and the world from total extermination in the near future. The Watch stars Ben Stiller, Jonah Hill, Vince Vaughn and Richard Ayoade. Let’s take a look at some of the early news for: The Watch
“An Early Look On The Latest Clip For The Watch
Yahoo! Movies has an exclusive clip (above) from suburbia-spoofing comedy “The Watch,” starring Ben Stiller, Jonah Hill, Vince Vaughn and British television star Richard Ayoade.
In the scene, the guys are in the midst of a stakeout as Bob (Vaughn) has to go to the bathroom really really badly.
If the film’s title seems new to you, that’s because it is. Originally called “Neighborhood Watch,” Twentieth Century Fox made the concerted decision in early April to distance the film from the widely-reported Trayvon Martin case, which involved self-declared neighborhood watchman George Zimmerman.
Indeed, when the decision was made, Fox pulled a trailer that jokingly depicted the film’s stars as gang-like, set to Dr. Dre’s famed hip-hop track “Still D.R.E.”
Now promotional materials focus more on the film’s twist — that the neighborhood watchmen must save themselves, their families, their neighbors, and the world, from aliens.
This is not the first time a Stiller movie has been the victim of bad timing: Filmmakers removed and obscured images of the World Trade Center towers for the September release of ” Zoolander” in 2001.
“The Watch” opens nationwide July 27.”

Here’s another article from Adam Chitwood on his opinion on this upcoming movie
“The Watch: A New Title And A Great Team Up
The comedy previously known as Neighborhood Watch now has a new red band trailer and a new title. To distance itself from the Trayvon Martin case in Florida, director Akiva Schaffer’s (Hot Rod) sci-fi comedy is now simply titled The Watch. Nevertheless, this trailer exactly what I was hoping would come out of a Vince Vaughn, Jonah Hill, and Ben Stiller team-up. Thankfully, it appears they’re going full-R on this one based on the a high number of f-bombs and dick jokes thrown into this red band clip. The film stars Vaughn, Hill, Stiller and Richard Ayoade as a group of neighbors who form a local watch group and end up stumbling onto an alien plot to destroy the world.
I’m a huge fan of Hot Rod, and it looks like Schaffer is bringing some of the same oddball humor to this film. The sci-fi aspect is played way up in this trailer, and I especially love how the characters react after stumbling upon an unknown alien weapon. Hit the jump to watch the trailer. The film also stars Billy Crudup, Will Forte, Rosemarie DeWitt, and Nicholas Braun. The Watch opens July 27th.”

This movie sounds very promising. With the awkward humor of Ben Stiller, and Jonah Hill’s immature jokes, there will sure to be giggles throughout theaters. I hope it’s as good as it sounds; fingers crossed!
Looking forward to this one for Richard Ayoade’s appearance… probably not a big name for the US audience but a well established and acclaimed comedy actor and director here in the UK… check out ‘Submarine’ – Richard’s feature length directorial debut is an absolute cracker.
