Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Witness Protection is coming to the big screen on June 29th 2012 directed by Tyler Perry. This comedy film is about a CFO of Wall Street Investment banker named George Needleman (played by Eugene Levy). For some years now he has been living and working without a single clue to what is really happening to the world. Until finally, he woke up one day and finds out that his firm, Lockwise Industries has been part of a mob-backed Ponzi scheme and he is about to take the fall for these people. Needleman is now facing criminal charges and to top that all he is receiving death threats from the mob. George and his family have to be put under the care of Brian (Tyler Perry) who must ensure their safety under the witness protection program. This federal prosecutor then finds the perfect place to put the endangered family in his Aunt Madea’s house. Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Witness Protection will surely bring tons of laughter and a twisted story that will tickle everyone this Friday. Romeo plays ‘Jake’ in the movie, ‘Madea’s Witness Protection’. He says that his character reminds him of the character Will Smith played in the television show ‘Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’. Romeo describes ‘Jake’ as “a real A-Z character”. As well he was “able to show different sides of my acting ability. Full journey and people will be impressed”.

Adylia-Rhenee: Did any of your previous roles, or any life experiences help you to draw from for this role?

Romeo: A lot of inspiration came from Will Smith, the role he played on Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and my cousin (laughs). My cousin got in trouble and didn’t want to tell his dad. And seeing him avoid his dad and the situation inspired me. His dad would ask him what was wrong and he got nervous (laughs).”
