
The 70th Golden Globes came and conquered last night, January 13th 2012. Hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, the Golden Globes definitely brought on an array of laughter, style and of course amazing movies that came out in 2012. So who made it to the top this year? First and foremost, Argo came swinging at the Golden Globes by grabbing the Best Director for Ben Affleck and Best Motion Picture – Drama. Les Miserables didn’t miss a beat with awards for Hugh Jackman (Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy), Anne Hathaway (Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture), and Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy. Daniel Day-Lewis won the Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama for the movie Lincoln and Jessica Chastain won Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama for Zero Dark Thirty.
