Your Sister’s Sister is an upcoming dram/comedy film that will touch the hearts of millions of June 29th 2012. Starring Emily Blunt, Mark Duplass and Rosemarie DeWitt, this movie will lead you on a journey of love, discovery, healing and friendship. Your Sister’s Sister is an independent film that was entered in Sundance Film Festival as well as the Toronto Film Festival. According to an article from Sundance: “Lynn Shelton first came to the Festival in 2009 with Humpday. We are thrilled to show her fourth feature, Your Sister’s Sister, a subtle, heartfelt romantic comedy that premiered at Toronto earlier this year, and to count her as a member of our U.S. Dramatic Competition jury.” There is truly a new story in this indie film that will bring people together into a brand new realization in life. The Story of Your Sister’s Sister

Your Sister’s Sister revolves around the story of Jack (played by Mark Duplass), his best friend Iris (Emily Blunt) and Iris’ sister Hannah (Rosemarie DeWitt). Jack is in an emotional turmoil even after a year after his brother’s death. He then decides to take Iris’ offer to spend a solitary week at her family’s remote island where he can sort himself out. When Jack arrives at the house on the island, he discovers that Hannah is there and wishes to spend some alone time too. They share an awkward evening together wondering if this was a good idea after all. The next morning Iris arrives at the house which starts a new story that will twist a tale of emotions involving best friends, sisters and brothers.

The main cast of Your Sister’s Sister is joined by actors and actresses like: Mike Birbiglia, Mel Eslyn, Jeanette Maus and Kate Bayley. This indie film is directed and written by Lynn Shelton. Your Sister’s Sister is produced by Ada Films and is going to be distributed by IFC Films in the United States.
