Angelina Jolie Finally Reveals What Really Ended Her Marriage With Brad Pitt

From 2005 to 2016, the pair we affectionately dubbed “Brangelina” were the most-talked-about couple in Hollywood. From their flawless looks to their Oscar-winning talent, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were thought to be the epitome of #RelationshipGoals.

But then the utterly unexpected happened just two years after the pair finally got hitched in 2014. Jolie filed for divorce and left us all wondering what it was that destroyed their once solid relationship. Unfortunately, Jolie tends to keep any discussion about her kids and her relationship with ex-husband Brad Pitt entirely under wraps. So it is a rare event when she decides to open up about her personal life. Well, it turns out that she has decided to do just that in a recent podcast interview. You may know that Jolie has turned her hand to other projects including movie directing. One of the most recent movies that she worked on is First They Killed My Father which was released on Netflix last September. It turns out that the movie was pretty well received by the critics. So in a recent interview on The Hollywood Reporter‘s podcast Awards Chatter, she discussed the movie and a load of other juicy topics in great detail. Incredibly, Jolie even opened up about how her relationship with Brad Pitt broke down and contrary to what you may have thought, it had a little something to do with her double mastectomy amongst other things… Back in 2013, a then 37-year-old Angelina Jolie’s health problems were highly publicised. Her family has a history of breast cancer which really alarmed the mom-of-six, so she decided to get a double mastectomy to reduce her chances of developing the disease. Her own mother, Marcheline Bertrand, had breast cancer which she managed to fight, but, unfortunately, she later died from ovarian cancer. Jolie made the incredibly brave decision to undergo a preventive double mastectomy after finding out she had inherited the BRCA gene, a faulty gene which meant that she had an 87% chance of developing cancer. Just two years after the double mastectomy, doctors told Jolie that test results were showing signs of ovarian cancer in her system. As a result, she made the brave decision to have her ovaries and fallopian tubes surgically removed. At the time, it was reported that her husband, Brad Pitt, was nothing but supportive. However, we could never really know what was going on behind closed doors. According to the Maleficent actress, her health scares were putting an irrevocable strain on her marriage. “I’ve had many, many extraordinary very fortunate things happen and it’s also been many things over the years that had been challenging. So that wasn’t a particular time when I wrote it… I had my mastectomy right before I had Unbroken,” the actress revealed. “Over the span of that decade, I did lose my mother. I did have my mastectomy, and I did then have an ovarian cancer scare and have that surgery as well, and other things of course that happened in life that you go through.” In 2015, Jolie and Pitt worked together on the movie By The Sea in an attempt to “heal” their marriage which was threatening to break down. “A piece of art can be something that’s healing or something that’s difficult. I don’t know.” “I’m glad we did that film because we did explore something together,” she said. “Whatever it was maybe it didn’t solve certain things, but we did communicate something that needed to be communicated to each other.” “We had met working together and we worked together well… I wanted us to do some serious work together… I thought it would be a good way for us to communicate. In some ways it was, and in some ways, we learned some things.” “But there was a heaviness probably during that situation that carried on and it wasn’t because of the [movie]. It was something that we were dealing… things happen for different reasons, and things… why did I write that exact piece? Why did we feel that way when we made it? I’m not sure.” Needless to say, Angelina Jolie has gone through a tough few years. Fearing for your health when you have young children must be incredibly difficult – especially if that ultimately leads to the breakdown of your marriage Unfortunately, anyone who knows anything about Jolie’s early life will be aware that she has had to contend with a great deal of emotional pain and numerous setbacks throughout her life. Check out her story in the video below: We wish Jolie, her children and, of course, Brad Pitt the best of luck for their future health and happiness.

(CNN)He’s still not James Bond, but for now this honor will do.

He is the 33rd man to hold the title and appears this week on the magazine’s cover.
Elba told the publication, “I was like, ‘Come on, no way. Really?’ ” when he first learned he had been selected.
“Looked in the mirror, I checked myself out. I was like, ‘Yeah, you are kind of sexy today,’ ” the “Thor” star joked. “But to be honest, it was just a nice feeling. It was a nice surprise — an ego boost for sure.”
“Elba first became famous in the States for his portrayal of drug kingpin Russell “Stringer” Bell on HBO’s hit series “The Wire” (HBO is owned by CNN’s parent company) and since then has branched out to the big screen.
His early days were far from sexy, Elba said, growing up “tall and skinny” at an all-boys school in London, where he played football, basketball, cricket, hockey and rugby.
Now considered one of Hollywood’s sex symbols, Elba said he definitely had an awkward stage as a youth.
“And my name was Idrissa Akuna Elba, OK?,” he said. “I got picked on a little bit. But as soon as I could grow a mustache, I was the coolest kid on the block. Grew a mustache, had some muscles, bonkers.”
Bonkers indeed.”

Barbra Streisand talks about calling Tim Cook to complain about Siri in hilarious ‘Carpool Karaoke’ ep

Published

“Not only can Barbra Streisand sing, but she can also tell some pretty awesome stories.

The Carpool Karaoke episode above starts with her rescuing a stranded James Corden from the side of the road, before telling him about how she failed her written driving test three times and once accidentally turned into the up-ramp of a highway.

The highlight, however, has to be her anecdote about the time she called Tim Cook to tell him Siri was pronouncing her name wrong. To be fair, it worked.”

Ariana Grande and James Corden solve their way out of a seriously scary escape room

“Ariana Grande is super into Halloween, haunted houses, and escape rooms, so James Corden invited the pop star to a combination of the three.

As an addition to The Late Late Show‘s “Carpool Karaoke” segment with Grande, Corden decided to book a session at 60OUT Escape Rooms in Los Angeles, picking the horror themed room.

It looks downright terrifying, and Grande spends the entire time being understandably beside herself.

“That’s not an escape room, that’s one of the seven gates to hell,” she said.

At least know we know how she injured her hand — running away from whatever the hell that is in the clip.”
