From 2005 to 2016, the pair we affectionately dubbed “Brangelina” were the most-talked-about couple in Hollywood. From their flawless looks to their Oscar-winning talent, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were thought to be the epitome of #RelationshipGoals.
But then the utterly unexpected happened just two years after the pair finally got hitched in 2014. Jolie filed for divorce and left us all wondering what it was that destroyed their once solid relationship. Unfortunately, Jolie tends to keep any discussion about her kids and her relationship with ex-husband Brad Pitt entirely under wraps. So it is a rare event when she decides to open up about her personal life. Well, it turns out that she has decided to do just that in a recent podcast interview. You may know that Jolie has turned her hand to other projects including movie directing. One of the most recent movies that she worked on is First They Killed My Father which was released on Netflix last September. It turns out that the movie was pretty well received by the critics. So in a recent interview on The Hollywood Reporter‘s podcast Awards Chatter, she discussed the movie and a load of other juicy topics in great detail. Incredibly, Jolie even opened up about how her relationship with Brad Pitt broke down and contrary to what you may have thought, it had a little something to do with her double mastectomy amongst other things… Back in 2013, a then 37-year-old Angelina Jolie’s health problems were highly publicised. Her family has a history of breast cancer which really alarmed the mom-of-six, so she decided to get a double mastectomy to reduce her chances of developing the disease. Her own mother, Marcheline Bertrand, had breast cancer which she managed to fight, but, unfortunately, she later died from ovarian cancer. Jolie made the incredibly brave decision to undergo a preventive double mastectomy after finding out she had inherited the BRCA gene, a faulty gene which meant that she had an 87% chance of developing cancer. Just two years after the double mastectomy, doctors told Jolie that test results were showing signs of ovarian cancer in her system. As a result, she made the brave decision to have her ovaries and fallopian tubes surgically removed. At the time, it was reported that her husband, Brad Pitt, was nothing but supportive. However, we could never really know what was going on behind closed doors. According to the Maleficent actress, her health scares were putting an irrevocable strain on her marriage. “I’ve had many, many extraordinary very fortunate things happen and it’s also been many things over the years that had been challenging. So that wasn’t a particular time when I wrote it… I had my mastectomy right before I had Unbroken,” the actress revealed. “Over the span of that decade, I did lose my mother. I did have my mastectomy, and I did then have an ovarian cancer scare and have that surgery as well, and other things of course that happened in life that you go through.” In 2015, Jolie and Pitt worked together on the movie By The Sea in an attempt to “heal” their marriage which was threatening to break down. “A piece of art can be something that’s healing or something that’s difficult. I don’t know.” “I’m glad we did that film because we did explore something together,” she said. “Whatever it was maybe it didn’t solve certain things, but we did communicate something that needed to be communicated to each other.” “We had met working together and we worked together well… I wanted us to do some serious work together… I thought it would be a good way for us to communicate. In some ways it was, and in some ways, we learned some things.” “But there was a heaviness probably during that situation that carried on and it wasn’t because of the [movie]. It was something that we were dealing… things happen for different reasons, and things… why did I write that exact piece? Why did we feel that way when we made it? I’m not sure.” Needless to say, Angelina Jolie has gone through a tough few years. Fearing for your health when you have young children must be incredibly difficult – especially if that ultimately leads to the breakdown of your marriage Unfortunately, anyone who knows anything about Jolie’s early life will be aware that she has had to contend with a great deal of emotional pain and numerous setbacks throughout her life. Check out her story in the video below: We wish Jolie, her children and, of course, Brad Pitt the best of luck for their future health and happiness.
Pamela Anderson Thought She Had A ‘Special Power To Kill People’ As A Child After Her Death Wish Came True
Pamela Anderson exudes magic every time she runs down the beach in slo-mo — but did you know she has real “special powers”?
At least she thought she did after an allegedly predatory babysitter was killed in a car accident one day after wishing her dead.
“I had a babysitter, and she molested me for I think a year. I was between the ages of 4 and 8, somewhere in there. I remember wishing her dead, and she ended up dying the next day in her graduation in a car accident.”
Naturally, young Pam thought she was behind the freak fatality and, if she wasn’t careful, might cause another. She continued:
“I thought, ‘Okay, now I’ve killed her. I’m magic. I can’t tell my parents about this and I’ve killed her,’ so I started believing that I had this special power to kill people.”
The future actress was so terrified to oust herself as a magical being, she didn’t tell her parents about the scary coincidence until “years later.”
Of course, by that time, she realized she had magical abilities every time she squeezed into a red swimsuit.

He then crossed his arms over his chest — the Wakandan salute.
Along with the video, Smith quoted Mandela in his Instagram post, sharing a message everyone who worked on the film that spoke to what people can do with their fame and how they can reach out and inspire others.
“Go into the streets… Touch them… Let them know that you are real!” Smith wrote.

Amy Schumer Marries Boyfriend Chris Fischer After A Few Months Of Dating
Amy Schumer married chef Chris Fischer in a secret ceremony on Tuesday after just a few months of dating, People and Us Weekly reported.
The two were married at a house in Malibu, California, in front of 80 friends, including stars Larry David, Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Lawrence, David Spade and Jake Gyllenhaal, according to the reports.
Schumer, 36, and her chef boyfriend made their relationship public (as in Instagram-official) this week after attending Ellen DeGeneres’ star-studded birthday party. The two reportedly started dating around November after they were spotted having an intimate dinner in New York City.
They later attended a taping of “Saturday Night Live” together, though Schumer’s rep wouldn’t comment on the relationship.
Fisher once worked at Mario Batali’s New York City restaurant, Babbo, after being introduced by his friend, Jake Gyllenhaal.
The chef later returned to Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, where he grew up, to work at the Beach Plum Inn (a favorite of the Obamas) and The Covington Restaurant.
Fisher who penned the James Beard Award-winning cookbook, Beetlebung Farm Cookbook recently opened Beetlebung Farm Market on Martha’s Vineyard, and plans to turn part of it into a restaurant.
“After years of working for other people, my intuition is, ‘I’m doing this on my own terms,’” Fisher told Boston magazine in July. “You can create a destination restaurant anywhere.”
Prior to meeting Fischer, Schumer dated furniture designer Ben Hanisch. The two met on a dating app in 2015 and were together for a little over a year.
“I feel like Ben is the first guy who’s really been my boyfriend,” the “I Feel Pretty” actress and author told Marie Claire in July 2016. “There are guys who, if they heard me say that, would want to punch me in the face, but yeah, it’s the truth.”
A rep for Schumer confirmed that she and Hanisch split in 2017, but said the two remained friends. It certainly seems like things are amicable, as the comedian thanked her ex for some furniture he’d built for her in September.
