Captain Marvel, the first female-led MCU film, is edging ever closer to release.

A new trailer for the film dropped during the college football National Championship game on Monday, revealing a little more on what we can expect from Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers.

There’s a glimpse and an explanation of who the shapeshifting Skrull are, plenty of power punches and photon blasts to boot, plus an amusing ribbing of the S.H.I.E.L.D. logo with Nick Fury, played by Samuel L. Jackson.

It’s the film’s third trailer, following on from the electrifying first and second trailers released in the last few months.

Captain Marvel is out in theaters Mar. 8, 2019.

“Spider-Man: Far From Home doesn’t hit theaters for another two weeks, but early reactions from critics promise we’re in for a web-slingin’ good time.

Marvel’s second standalone Spidey film and the final chapter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase Three, Far From Home chronicles Peter Parker’s first heroic venture following the death of his beloved mentor Iron Man in Avengers: Endgame.

Tom Holland and Zendaya return as Peter and MJ, alongside MCU newcomer Jake Gyllenhaal as comic book character Mysterio.

Of course, no Marvel movie is complete without the appearance of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents Nick Fury and Maria Hill, played by Samuel L. Jackson and Cobie Smulders. As an added bonus, Jon Favreau will reprise his role as Happy Hogan.”

Here’s the Marvel movie watch list you didn’t know you needed

“A Marvel cinematic universe fan made a list of the correct order to watch the long catalog of superhero movies along with some brutally honest commentary.

It has gone viral, for all the right reasonsmostly because its so accurate.

It began when Victoria Aveyard, the New York Times-bestselling author of the book Red Queen, was asked by her roommate to create a checklist of theperfect order in which to watch the films.

From thatrequest, this beauty was born.

The advice is brutally upfront, and gives potential viewers a sense of the films before they even get started.

She calls Iron Man, the granddaddy of them all, while Iron Man 2 is trash.

And for Thor, well she advises to just ignore Natalie Portman, who played Thor’s love interest Jane Foster in the first Thor movie. She appeared later inThor 2: The Dark World, which Aveyard calls “silly.”

She goes on to call the Guardians of the Galaxy fun, and describes Doctor Strange as if House was a Wizard.

Oh, and if youre thinking of watchingIncredible Hulk at all…just don’t.

Aveyard wrote that her comments were intended to guide her roommate, who doesnt like war.

But other Marvel fans stand behind her list.
