Kenan Thompson is afraid of what comes after Saturday Night Live for him, and we get it.

“The length of Kenan Thompson’s tenure on Saturday Night Live has become a running joke on Saturday Night Live. And he knows it.

During Donald Glover’s recent monologue, Thompson acknowledged just how long it’s been since he first auditioned in 2003. After entering his 15th season in 2017, he became the longest-serving cast member, dethroning previous record holder Darrell Hammond.

The fact that he’s stayed on is impressive — but the consensus is that if you’re not leaving SNL, you probably don’t have anywhere better to go. Or something else is holding you back

In a Hollywood Reporter interview, Thompson explained….”

“Fargo has Chris Rock booked to star in its upcoming fourth season, but that’s not even the exciting part.

Season 4 of the time-hopping anthology series shifts the setting to the seedy underbelly of Kansas City, Missouri during the 1950s. Rock is set to play the head of an African-American crime family who takes on an unusual challenge.

In a bid to foster peace between Rock’s crew and a rival Italian syndicate, the leaders of the two factions hash out a deal: They’ll swap sons. To keep the peace, Rock and his Italian counterpart trade their eldest sons with each intending to raise the child as their own.

The unusual situation takes an unexpected turn when the Italian mob boss dies on the operating table during a routine surgery. What happens from there will remain a mystery for now, but unnamed FX execs described Season 4 as a story of “immigration and assimilation and the things we do for money” at the Television Critics Association press tour on Friday (h/t Variety).

Rock, a self-professed Fargo fan, said that he “can’t wait to work with [showrunner Noah Hawley].”

The fourth season of Fargo is set to start shooting sometime in 2019, with the Season 4 premiere expected to arrive at a later point in the same year……………”

First ‘American Horror Story: Apocalypse’ teaser is absolutely world-ending

Calling all nightmare collectors and scream queens. It is time to reconvene—American Horror Story: Apocalypse is nearly upon us.

If you still have the resounding failure that was AHS: Cult freshly seared into memory, you may be hesitant to check back into Ryan Murphy’s hellscape anthology. Luckily, the first teaser for Season 8 features a promising return to the dark and twisty… minus the Cheetos.

Per tradition, the teaser doesn’t reveal much beyond the established apocalyptic theme. However, the overall atmosphere, graphics, and anachronistic soundtrack are giving strong Murder House vibes. And that makes sense considering the confirmed Murder House and Coven crossover set to unfold this season.

With the return of series’ favorite Jessica Lange announced late last week, the horror narrative’s inaugural foray into a single universe seems primed to dazzle. But AHS fans have been burned before… In the words of the illustrious Constance Langdon, “Don’t make me kill you again.”

American Horror Story: Apocalypse premieres Wednesday, September 12 on FX.
